Gavi Spumante La Mesma - Traditional Method
The characteristic features of Gavi ar brought out to their best by Cortese grapes "in purezza". Our Metodo Classico has heady effervescence that preserves its primary floreal and fruity scents, enhanced further by a pleasant level of acidity. Gavi Spumante is made by Metodo Classico which means that bubbles are produced by in-bottle secondary fermentation of the same vintage of grape. All steps  production, vinification, second fermentation, manual remuage (riddling) and dègorgement (disgorging) are carried out in the wine cellars on our premises. Ideal as an aperifit of throughout the meal.

Best served between 6-8 degrees.

VARIETY OF GRAPE : Cortese 100%, raised by Guyot. yield of  800 kg per hectare

VINIFICATION : Grapes picked by hand and placed in small crates, immediately pressed by a soft press.

MATURATION : Tirage (bottling) the following Spring of the Vintage year.

DOSAGE: Brut (sugar added up to a 15gr per litre)
