Our family’s on-going quest for quality is inseparable from a deeply rooted respect for the environment. Our vineyard is divided into distinct sections, distinguishable by vine type, pedology, age and exposition. The vines are left to flourish in faithful accordance with the region’s time-honoured “Guyot” system, as well as with the double-spur, low cordon system.

La Mesma vineyards are located in Monterotondo (Province of Alessandria), at the very heart of the Gavi DOCG region in Italy.
Nestled in the peaceful, green countryside between Piedmont and Liguria, seemingly far from the sea, the region benefits considerably from coastal influences.
The estate’s Gavi La Mesma DOCG production relies on twenty-six hectares (corresponding to 230.000 bottles a year) of Cortese grape vines planted on southerly exposed hillsides at an altitude of about 300 metres, in fine medium-blend soil.
